Yesterday I was in London to photograph the wedding of Amy and Patrick. The ceremony was held in the MBE Chapel of St Paul’s Cathedral and Patrick wore his Mother’s medal as a tribute to her. The ceremony was conducted by the former Bishop of Kensington and now Canon Pastor of St Paul’s, the Right Reverend Michael Colclough. It was one of the first ceremonies at St Paul’s where I have been welcomed as a photographer and it was lovely to be able to document the service for Amy and Patrick as a lasting reminder of their very special day. After the ceremony we all headed off to the Andaz Hotel, which is a very funky hotel in Liverpool Street. We made use of the recently discovered Masonic Hall and also the contemporary bar area for some creative portraits of the couple. The speeches were great and there was not a dry eye in the house by the end. I had the pleasure of being assisted at this wedding by another photographer, Sarah Greenwood – thank you Sarah. I am looking forward to catching up with Amy and Patrick soon.
