Barrie Downie destination wedding photographer Italy
So you have decided to get married in Italy and frankly, who can blame you. I have been fortunate enough to spend time in various cities and popular destination wedding locations around Italy I Love the beauty of the Tuscan and Umbrian landscapes with rolling hills and rows of Cypress trees and the colourful towns that are popular with brides such as Portofino and Ravello are locations I have photographed weddings at before.
Once you have chosen your Italian wedding venue and your wedding planner is booked it’s important to book your wedding photographer as most destination wedding photographers will only take on a few select destination weddings each year so they keep the focus on service and quality. I have been told by more than one bride that when they get married in Italy they are going to book me as their wedding photographer and they have not even been proposed to yet!
Most couples that choose me as their wedding photographer agree that photography is one of the most important decisions they will make as a couple with regard to their wedding. Your wedding album is the one thing you will have to look back on after your wedding for years to come and it will help you to relive the day again and again, choosing your destination wedding photographer wisely is therefore a decision that could ultimately lead to a family heirloom thats passed down the generations for you to be proud of.
As an experienced destination wedding photographer I don’t need to see the location beforehand asI am used to travelling to many different countries and working in new locations, you know I can speak fluent English and communicate with you on the day as well as beforehand in your country and I will be at your venue with you the day before to scout out potential locations for some great opportunities to make the most of your Italian wedding venue.
Choosing me to photograph your wedding in Italy means you get someone who speaks your language and can communicate well with all of your guests to maximise your use of time during the wedding day.
I am also frequently asked to photograph parties before and after the wedding day itself and also the day after the wedding is a great opportunity to get back into your wedding gown and head out to get some amazing signature images without the time constraints of the wedding day.
