Eastbourne Wedding Photographer
I live in Eastbourne. The Downs, the seafront and the venues in between are on my doorstep, and there's no travel charge.
I've photographed weddings for over twenty years, and Eastbourne is home.
That means I know how the light falls on the seafront on a summer evening, where to go when the wind picks up on Beachy Head, and which venues are ten minutes from my front door. It also means no travel charge, and I can meet you in person whenever it helps.
Local, not visiting
Documentary for most of the day, and a short portrait session at the time that suits the light.
I don't move guests around or stop things to fix the light. I photograph the day as it happens, then take the two of you away for fifteen or twenty minutes. Family groups come from a list you send me beforehand, so they're quick.
Every image is edited, and your full gallery is with you within a week. I carry two camera bodies and full insurance, and your venue can have a copy of the certificate.
Barrie
Gildredge Manor, Old Town
A Georgian house in Gildredge Park, built in 1775 and ten minutes from my front door. Flint walls, a white columned porch and a private garden. Two licensed rooms take up to 100 guests, and you have the whole house to yourselves.

Where to take portraits near Eastbourne
You don't need to go far. Pick one place, not four. One twenty-minute trip gives you a set of pictures unlike the rest of the day. Four means you spend your wedding in a car.

Do you charge travel for Eastbourne weddings?
No. I live in Eastbourne, so there's no travel charge for weddings in Eastbourne or East Sussex. Further afield, travel is quoted at cost.
What does an Eastbourne wedding photographer cost?
My Eastbourne collections are £1,150 for five hours, £1,550 for eight and £1,900 for eleven, with every image edited.
Do you photograph register office weddings?
Yes. Eastbourne Register Office weddings at the Town Hall are priced by the hour, from £225.
When will we get our photos?
Within a week of the wedding, in a private online gallery with high-resolution downloads and no watermarks.
What if the weather turns?
I'll have worked out the covered spots at your venue beforehand. Rain and wind make for good pictures more often than you'd think.
How far ahead should we book?
Summer Saturdays go twelve to eighteen months ahead, so earlier is better. If your date is sooner, ask anyway.
