Goodwood House winter wedding
its always great to be asked to be the photographer for a Goodwood House winter wedding and I was lucky to have a bright and sunny day for this wedding just before Christmas. With beautiful floral arrangements by Blomster Designs, Goodwood was looking amazing for this stylish winter wedding. The guests arrived in good spirits after an overnight stay from the Goodwood Hotel in a vintage bus and the bride arrived in a classic white Rolls Royce wearing a stunning wedding gown by Yolan Cris.
The wedding ceremony took place in the yellow drawing room which has some grand full-length portraits of George II, Queen Caroline, George III and Queen Charlotte, and the signing of the register took place in the circular card room, which has wonderful glazed cabinets containing the 3rd Dukes famous collection of china.
The bride and groom then made their way out to the front of the house to have a group photo with all of their guests on the steps of Goodwood House where many famous faces and royalty have stood before. After a relaxed champagne reception with a selection of wonderful canapés the bride and groom entered the ballroom for their wedding breakfast and were delighted to see their guest seated on the long table looking resplendent in candlelight with gorgeous table settings. During the meal the guests had the pleasure of the wonderful Niche London Quartet playing to them throughout the wedding breakfast before they left for they evening.
After the impromptu speeches made by a few of their guests the couple had their first dance played by a duo from Norway they had seen busking while on holiday and flew them into the UK for their evening entertainment!
If you are thinking of having a Goodwood House winter wedding I would be delighted to speak with you and discuss how I can work with you to produce an amazing set of wedding photographer for your winter wedding at Goodwood.
